I upgraded from an 1800 watt Vidal Sassoon travel dryer that ALWAYS left my hair frizzy and poufy [like a lion!] every time I dried my hair. This was a happy upgrade - considering the old dryer was worth no more than $40 when purchased. According to Folica.com, the specs are as follows:

...I NO LONGER have to flat iron my hair afterwards to look presentable! My hair drying time went from 15 minutes to 5! The ion switch I'm not too sold on though, since that switch seems to make my hair frizz up more, but I'm still thinking I've yet to figure out how to correctly incorporate that into my drying routine. It's not obnoxiously loud, and is compact and fairly light weight. I love the length of cordage available, and the attachment nozzles included are extremely nice to work with if you're a novice learning to style your hair.
It was between this and the T3 Featherweight, and I'm glad I went with this model instead. After all of my investigating, I found that many others felt their T3 did not perform as well, and was not ergonomically friendly.
Unfortunately, [or could be my fortune] the new Sedu ICON PRIVE was just released for $700:
*Drool*... now, I don't know why I suddenly want this... it could be my superficial need for the best-of-the-best. It COULD be that the $700.00 price tag makes it less attainable and it's why I want it so bad... but if anyone knows a place I can test-drive this bad boy, holler at your girl and I'm there!
